Our first of several projects for foodie collection– a truly passionate client wanting to bring their European experiences in food and drink to Bangkok. Vesper is located in the heart of Bangkok’s business district, in an area also popular with travellers.

Our designers interpreted the brief to evoke a British vibe with a hybrid approach– contrasting spare modernity with raw concrete floors and a dark grey monotone colour scheme with traditional wood panelling with mouldings, classic Thonet seating at white marble tables and touches of brass in the lighting and at the bar.

Vesper draws large crowds with the conversation volume rivalling the hottest nightspots in New York or LA. Intended as much an after-work watering hole as a place for excellent cuisine, equal energy is given to the cuisine menu and the cocktail menu. In 2017 Vesper was right-sized, making room next door for Foodie collection’s newest offering– 1919 a chic Italian bistro designed by Whitespace.
